July 19, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Rahhal calls for waiting for STL indictment

Lebanon First bloc MP Riad Rahhal told the Voice of Lebanon (VOL) radio station on Monday that the Lebanese should wait for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s (STL) indictment, which media reports said would be issued before the end of the year, before making hasty judgments.

“The STL works transparently, and no one has access to information regarding its investigation,” Rahhal said.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah accused the STL on Friday of being an “Israeli project” designed to target the Resistance by stirring up sectarian strife in Lebanon.
