نداء عاجل : شاب هندي موقوف في سجن رومية يواجه خطر الموت

سانيي كومار، الشاب الهندي الذي يقبع في رومية لدخوله الغير مشروع الى لبنان يواجه خطر الموت .

بعد أن تعرض لحادث دراجة نارية، تم نقله إلى المستشفى منذ شهرين وأصيب بكسور متعددة (الذراع، والساق والحوض ) وخضع للعديد من العمليات، بما في ذلك تركيب فيكساتور خارجي على مستوى الحوض .

وهو موقوف حالياً في زنزانة سيئة جدا مكتظة وعظامه ممكن ان تصاب بالالتهاب فهو لا يستطيع المشي، ويفقد تماماً التنقل على ساقيه . لعدة أيام لم يكن يأكل او يشرب وكان يتقيأ باستمرار ويبدو عليه عوارض الجفاف إلا أنه يتناول الباراسيتامول فقط لأغراض العلاج .

نناشدكم بنقل سانيي كومار على الفور إلى المستشفى وإلا فإنه يواجه كحد أدنى بفقدان بشكل دائم على استخدام ساقيه وفي أسوأ الأحوال يفقد حياته .

ونحن نحث السلطات اللبنانية في الساعات المقبلة على اخذ قرار نقل سانيي كومار إلى أمآن الرعاية الصحية وفي حال رفض مدير المكز الطبي في السجن أنه ينبغي معاينته على الفور من قبل طبيب مستقل واننا نطالب ايضا من نظام العدالة للإسراع في قرارها ولاظهار الرأفة لأسباب إنسانية ومن السفارة الهندية على اتخاذ جميع التدابير اللازمة لإعادته إلى بلده.

Urgent Appeal: A Young Indian Detained in Roumieh Prison at Risk of Death

Sany Kumar, a young Indian held in Roumieh for illegal entry in Lebanon is in danger of death.

Having had a scooter accident, he was hospitalized two months ago, suffered multiple fractures (arm, leg and pelvis) and underwent several operations, including the installation of an external fixator at the pelvis level.

He is currently held in a very dirty, overcrowded cell, his bones would be getting infected, he cannot walk, and is losing completely mobility in his legs. For several days, he has not been eating, nor drinking, has been vomiting continuously and seems extremely dehydrated. He only seems to be receiving paracetamol for treatment purposes.

Sany Kumar must be immediately transferred to the hospital, otherwise, he risks at a minimum, permanently losing the use of his legs and, at worst, losing his life.

We urge the Lebanese authorities to make in the coming hours the decision to transfer Sany Kumar to a health care setting, and in case the medical director of the prison refuses, that he be immediately examined by an independent doctor. We also asked the Justice System to expedite its decision and to show clemency for humanitarian reasons, and the Embassy of India to take all necessary measures to repatriate him to his country.

Appel urgent : un jeune Indien détenu à la prison de Roumieh risque de mourir

Sany Kumar, un jeune Indien détenu à Roumieh pour entrée illégale au Liban, est en danger de mort.

Ayant eu un accident de scooter, il aurait été hospitalisé il y a deux mois souffrant de fractures multiples (bras, jambe et bassin), et a subi plusieurs opérations, y compris la pose d’un fixateur externe au niveau du bassin.

Actuellement, il est dans une cellule surpeuplée, très sale, ses os seraient en train de s’infecter, il ne peut pas marcher, et est en train de perdre totalement la mobilité de ses jambes. Depuis plusieurs jours, il ne mange pas, ne boit pas, vomit continuellement et semble extrêmement déshydraté. Il ne semble recevoir pour seul traitement que du paracétamol.

Sany Kumar doit immédiatement être transféré à l’hôpital sans quoi il est, au minimum, au risque de perdre définitivement l’usage de ses jambes et, au pire, d’y perdre la vie.

Nous appelons les autorités libanaises à prendre dans les heures qui viennent la décision de transférer Sany Kumar dans un milieu médicalisé, et dans le cas ou la direction médicale de la prison refuserait, qu’il soit immédiatement examiné par un médecin indépendant. Nous demandons également à la Justice d’accélérer son jugement et de faire preuve de clémence pour des raisons humanitaires, et à l’ambassade d’Inde de prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour son rapatriement dans son pays.
