July 15, 2010 - Naharnet - Ammar Moussawi says Hezbollah awaits STL indictment

Hezbollah International Relations Officer Ammar Moussawi told Al-Manar television that his party is waiting for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) to issue an indictment before it forms an opinion.

“There is nothing dangerous about rogue Hezbollah members being held for involvement [in the case]. We have doubts regarding the STL’s information, but we do not mind cooperating [with the investigation],” Moussawi said.

Media reports are suggesting an indictment will likely be issued before the end of this year.

The STL was set up to probe the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
