The briefcase snatched from Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) investigators in Dahiyeh on Wednesday contained a computer and documents used for interviewing, Al-Hayat newspaper quoted an anonymous source as saying in its Thursday edition.A group of women charged at STL investigators at a Beirut gynecology clinic in Dahiyeh on Wednesday morning and grabbed a briefcase from them, AFP reported.
The source denied any knowledge of the names on a list that investigators sought to discuss with the clinic’s owner, adding that it is unlikely that the briefcase contained any secret documents.Al-Hayat also quoted an anonymous security source as saying that the two STL investigators were accompanied by a Lebanese interpreter, two detectives and a Lebanese army patrol. One detective stayed in the car during the interview and the army patrol waited several dozen meters’ distance from the building, the source added.
