The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Three children ingest pesticides in Nabatieh - October 30, 2010

BEIRUT: Three Syrian children were poisoned Friday in the Nabatieh village of Marwanieh after ingesting agricultural pesticides, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported. Mohammad Hammoud, Ali and Mona Lattouf were rushed to a hospital in Nabatieh where their stomachs were pumped. Internal Security Forces (ISF) launched probes into the incident, added the NNA. –The Daily Star
