The Internal Security
Forces on Thursday issued a statement that its intelligence service arrested a
father and his daughter for involvement in the murder of Lebanese citizen
Bassem Tarabay in Kfarmata in Mount Lebanon.
The father confessed during
interrogation that he killed Tarabay “for personal reasons,” the report added.
The killing took place at
the murderer’s residence in Kfarmata. Tarabay’s body was found scorched and
thrown in the area of Jisr al-Qadi in Mount Lebanon on May 6.
