The Daily Star - Aoun sues Geagea for incitement to murder, May 22 2012

BEIRUT: Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun filed a lawsuit against his rival Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea, accusing him of incitement to murder, according to a press release issued by Aoun's media office over the weekend.
The lawsuit, filed Saturday in the central court of appeals, said Geagea made “misleading” statements when he held Aoun – in a May 16 interview with Al-Markazia news agency – “morally responsible for political assassinations and assassination attempts between 2005 and now.”
The lawsuit accuses Geagea of incitement to murder Aoun as well as stirring up sectarian strife. It also charges the LF leader with libel and slander and with failing to provide investigators with valuable information.
Aoun also filed a similar lawsuit against Al-Markazia, the Lebanese Forces website and Al-Mustaqbal newspaper, said the press release.
Geagea says he escaped an assassination attempt on April 4. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
