The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Lebanese man gets 3 years prison for collaborating with Israel, May 24 2012


BEIRUT: A Lebanese man has been sentenced to three years prison for collaborating with the Israeli state, judicial sources told The Daily Star Thursday.
The sources said that Zaki Ali Idriss, 55, from the Bekaa Valley, was sentenced late Wednesday night by Beirut’s military court on charges of collaborating with Israel, providing it with information and entering the Jewish state.
Separately, Military Investigating Judge Imad Zein issued an arrest warrant Thursday for K. Nehmeh on charges of maintaining contact with Israeli agents.
Nehmeh was also accused of providing the enemy with information about missing Israeli soldiers in Lebanon.
