The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

L'Orient le Jour - Najjar ne signera aucune condamnation à mort - October 12, 2010

Le ministre de la Justice, Ibrahim Najjar, a affirmé hier qu'il ne « signera jamais une condamnation à mort », même s'il devait « démissionner ». C'était au cours d'un débat sur la peine capitale organisé par l'ambassade de France et l'Union européenne à l'occasion de la Journée internationale contre la peine de mort.
