Now Lebanon - Houri condemns attack on STL investigators - October 28, 2010

Wednesday’s attack on Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) investigators in Dahiyeh is “completely condemned, and was very obviously organized,” Lebanon First bloc MP Ammar Houri told Voice of Lebanon radio on Thursday morning.
A group of women charged at STL investigators at a Beirut gynecology clinic in Dahiyeh on Wednesday morning and grabbed a briefcase from them.
The incident is yet another “clear message” sent by Hezbollah against the STL, but “its effects will have no influence and will not lead to anything,” Houri said.
Claims that investigators interfered in “personal matters” at the clinic are obviously false, since Dr. Iman Charara – the clinic’s owner – “herself denied this,” Houri added.
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayyad told OTV on Wednesday evening that the incident “shows that the tribunal did not take into consideration that this is a women’s clinic, and that it is looking at women’s files.”
