Now Lebanon - Najjar: Lebanon is committed to protecting STL investigators - October 28, 2010

Lebanon is legally bound by signed international agreements to “ensure the protection of international investigators,” Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said after a visit with Transport and Public Affairs Minister Ghazi Aridi on Thursday, according to a statement from Najjar’s office.
A group of women charged at STL investigators at a Beirut gynecology clinic in Dahiyeh on Wednesday morning and grabbed a briefcase from them. Afterward the STL condemned the attack and said that its investigators had arranged to interview clinic owner Dr. Iman Charara with approval from the Lebanese authorities, the Doctors Syndicate and the doctor herself.
Attorney General Said Mirza assigned Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr to investigate the incident on Wednesday.
