Now Lebanon - Feltman warns of “harsh” decisions if STL funding not provided, November 4, 2011

US Assistant Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman said on Friday that “harsh decisions” will be made against Lebanon if it does not provide its share of funding to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
“We expect Lebanon to completely implement its international commitments because the STL was established upon Lebanon’s request,” Feltman told Al-Arabiya television.
Four Hezbollah members have been indicted by the UN-backed court in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
However, the Shia group strongly denied the charges and refuses to cooperate with the court. Prime Minister Najib Mikati has repeatedly voiced Lebanon’s commitment to the tribunal.

Lebanon contributes 49 percent of the STL’s annual funding.
