The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Man kidnapped in northeast Lebanon, May 12 2012


BEKAA, Lebanon: A group of armed men kidnapped a man in the north Bekaa of Lebanon Saturday.
Khaled Adnan Ezzedine, who hails from Ersal, was kidnapped at around 1 p.m. by a group of armed men in the village of Nabi Othman in the north Bekaa, Baalbek.
The unidentified assailants drove two Grand Cherokee vehicles.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear and investigations by authorities are ongoing.
