BEIRUT:
President Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Najib Mikati were urged to resolve
a funding crisis for the country’s non-governmental groups that care for the
disabled.
NGO employees and the
families of the disabled gathered in Jounieh, Kesrouan, where Farida Mir, from
the NGO Sesobel, urged Sleiman to take action to resolve the funding crisis,
which threatens 56 institutions with closure.
