The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - ISF arrests man allegedly involved in Bekaa kidnapping - April 4, 2011

NOW Lebanon’s correspondent reported on Monday that an Internal Security Forces (ISF) Information Branch unit arrested a man identified only as Arfan M.M. as part of the ongoing investigation into last month’s kidnapping of seven Estonians.
The correspondent added that the ISF Information Branch conducted the arrest during a raid in the Bekaa town of Bar Elias.
Seven Estonian citizens were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on March 23 after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes.
