Syrian troops crossed the Lebanese border on Tuesday and abducted two men in the Bekaa town of Khodor, Future News reported.
According to the television channel, the kidnapped men were identified as Ahmad Qassem Abu an-Nasr Hamza and Ali Ghazwan al-Ashaal.
However, the report did not elaborate further.
Earlier in the month, Syrian troops were seen planting more mines along Lebanon’s northern border, a region known for smuggling activities and used by Syrians fleeing unrest in their country.
The UN said more than 3,500 people have been killed in the crackdown on Syrian protesters who have been demonstrating against the Baath regime since mid-March.
