Daily Star - Baby dies at local day care center, police investigate, December 13th 2011

BEIRUT: A three-month-old baby boy died Monday after being rushed to hospital by employees at a Beirut day care center, a police report said.
The report said Charbel Mansour, 3 months, was given to a local day care center in New Jdeideh, east of Beirut, by his father, Fadi Mansour, as he did every morning.
Fadi Mansour, according to the report, said his son had not been sick. “I took him this morning and he was perfectly healthy,” the report quoted Mansour as saying.
When Mansour went to pick up his son from day care at 1 p.m., he was told to go to Arz Hospital where Charbel had been admitted.
The report did not give the reasons Charbel was rushed to hospital.
The father arrived to the hospital about half an hour later to discover that Charbel had been pronounced dead. Police opened an investigation into the incident.
