The Daily Star- UNRWA, EU inaugurate new Sidon boys’ school , December , 13, 2011

BEIRUT: A new boys’ school was inaugurated by UNRWA and the Delegation of the European Union in Sidon Monday.
The school, construction and equipping of which was funded by the EU for 850,000 euros, will cater to Palestinians in grades from one to nine.
The director of UNRWA Affairs to Lebanon, Salvatore Lombardo thanked the EU for its ongoing cooperation.
“With the opening of Palestine Martyrs School, all schools in Saida are operating on single shift.
This allows a better environment and more qualitative education.
This could not have happened without the European Union longstanding and generous contribution to improving education for Palestine refugees in Lebanon.”
