The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan- EU and UNRWA distribute scholarships to 75 Palestinian students, December 14, 2011

The European Union and UNRWA will be awarding Thursday 75 scholarships funded by the EU to Palestinian students in Lebanon, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon, the Director of UNRWA Affairs, Salvatore Lombardo and representatives from the Embassy of Palestine in Lebanon.
