The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NOW Lebanon- MTV: Freed Israeli collaborators’ confessions were forced, December 12, 2011

MTV reported on Monday that the four Al-Alam brothers confessed to collaborating with Israel under torture, adding that their file is void of any “material evidence or tangible facts.”
Four people from the Al-Alam family were sentenced to prison for 10 to 15 years on charges of collaborating with Israel. They were released on bail last week after having been detained for almost three years.
