The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Syrian kidnapped in east Lebanon, June 8 2012


BEIRUT: A Syrian man was kidnapped Friday in Zahle, east of Lebanon, security sources told The Daily Star.
Habib al-Brimo’s vehicle was intercepted by a group of unidentified men who snatched him from his silver Mercedes and took him in the direction of a mall in the area.
The kidnappers left the car in its place.
