The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - LBC: Roumieh prisoners capture ISF officer- April 3, 2011

LBC television on Sunday reported that prisoners in Roumieh Prison captured an Internal Security Forces officer at bloc B of the facility overnight.
The ISF are negotiating the release of guard and the end of the riot inside the prison, according to LBC.
A riot broke out in Roumieh Prison on Saturday when prisoners began protesting cell searches.
Disobedience in section D in the prison ended earlier on Sunday, while negotiations are ongoing to end it in section B.
