The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Doctor found dead in Beirut hospital restroom - August 03, 2011

BEIRUT: An anesthesiologist was found dead Tuesday in a hospital toilet in Beirut, a security source told The Daily Star. Dr. Mohammad Salim Qassem, 39, was found dead in a restroom of Sahel hospital, south of Beirut.
Qassem was found grasping a syringe and had blood stains on his left hand. Investigations are under way.
