Now Lebanon - Chidiac: Assassination attempts linked to Hariri’s killing - August 11, 2011

Journalist and activist May Chidiac said on Thursday there are three cases of killings and assassination attempts linked to that of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s 2005 murder.
Two of the cases pertain to MP Marwan Hamadeh and former Defense Minister Elias al-Murr, she said following her meeting with a delegation from the UN-backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).
However, Chidiac refused to disclose any information on the third case, adding that the attempt to kill her is not linked to the Hariri murder.
The prominent journalist, who was injured in a 2005 car bomb, also said that the court investigating the murder of Hariri will reveal all the details “in the upcoming days.”
“I have a sixth sense and have obtained [certain] information. I know who did it, and I still believe in the STL,” said Chidiac.
A car bomb injured Hamadeh in October 2004, and Murr was targeted in a July 2005 bombing.
The STL indicted four members of Hezbollah in connection to Rafik Hariri’s murder, but the Shia group ruled out their arrest.
