The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - ISF destroys 90 more dunams of cannabis - August 11, 2011


BEIRUT: Another 90 dunams of cannabis fields were destroyed as part of the government’s campaign against illegal cultivation, the Internal Security Forces announced Wednesday.
A statement by the ISF said that the fields were destroyed in Deir al-Ahmar and Rasm al-Hadath in the northern Bekaa.
