iloubnan - Mansour tackles refugees' rights with Hamas delegation - August 04, 2011

Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Adnan Mansour listened on Thursday to the demands of a visiting Palestinian delegation headed by Hamas leader representative in Lebanon, Ali Barakeh, requesting the formation of a Lebanese Ministerial committee tasked to draft a strategy in support of the Palestinian refugees' right of return to their homeland Palestine.

"Mansour showed full understanding to our cause. He deemed the refugees' issue the main essence of the Palestinian issue. He also stressed Lebanon's strong attachment to the Palestinian's right of return," Barakeh said as relaying the Minister's utter refusal of any contingency meant to render Palestinian refugees, a Palestinian Diaspora in Lebanon.

"The only beneficiary is the Zionist enemy that doesn't acknowledge this cause to start with," Barakeh said as quoting Mansour.
