Now Lebanon - Hezbollah denies giving documents to STL - August 03, 2011

Hezbollah issued a statement Wednesday that it did not submit any documents to the office of Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare.
However, Hezbollah added that it distributed copies of party leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s August 9, 2010 speech as well as the files it gave Attorney General Said Mirza.
Hezbollah added that it would only present evidence to the Lebanese judiciary because the party refuses to cooperate with the UN-backed tribunal.
Bellemare’s office issued a statement earlier in the day that it is currently probing material provided by Hezbollah.
The STL indicted four members of Hezbollah for the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, but the Shia group ruled out their arrest.
Narallah last year gave a press conference in which he presented footage purportedly filmed by Israeli Unmanned Aerial Vehicles following Rafik Hariri.
