The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan- Sleiman praises regaining nationality draft endorsement, December 13, 2011

The President of the Republic, General Michel Suleiman, stressed on the importance of regaining the Lebanese nationality draft endorsement, alluding the step taken yesterday by the cabinet, the presidential press office reported on Tuesday. 

Sleiman said that this issue is important and very vital for Lebanon, as stated in Presidential oath, calling on parliament to approve it quickly since it has a role in strengthening political and economical bonds of the Lebanese immigrants with their home country."
