The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NOW Lebanon- Army arrests CEO abduction suspects , December 10, 2011

The Lebanese army on Saturday said in a statement that some suspects in the abduction of Liban Lait CEO Ahmad Zaidan were arrested earlier today.
Army units raided the houses of the suspects in the Bekaa towns of Britel, Haour Taala and Ayn al-Jouz, the statement said, adding that the units found the suspects in possession of weapons.
Zaidan was kidnapped Wednesday morning in the Bekaa Valley by five armed and masked men, the National News Agency reported.
