The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

April 8, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Judge issues arrest warrant against suspects in Ouyoun Orgosh incident

Investigative Military Judge Riad Abu Ghida issued on Thursday an arrest warrant against Joseph Tawq and Habib Tawq, who are in custody and accused of several charges – including shooting into the air in the Bekaa village of Ouyoun Orgosh and illegally owning firearms.

This comes after Government Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr indicted the detainees on Wednesday before transferring the case to Abu Ghida.
