The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon -Kataeb has solution for STL controversy, source says, February 2, 2011


“The Kataeb Party has an idea about how to deal with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL),” an anonymous party source said in remarks published on Wednesday.
“This idea, which will contribute to solving the crisis, has not yet been discussed with our allies,” the source told Al-Liwaa newspaper.
The source added that the Kataeb is concerned with both having a say in the new cabinet and maintaining the March 14 coalition’s unity.
