Now Lebanon - Roumieh-related protest blocks Baalbek highway - April 6, 2011

Protestors blocked the Baalbek-Homs highway in the Bekaa Valley around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
The report said that the protests are linked to recent riots in Roumieh prison, adding that the demonstrators held signs calling for “a general amnesty and knowledge of the fate of their sons.”
Security forces stormed Roumieh Prison on Tuesday after talks failed to secure the release of three guards detained by inmates who have been demanding an amnesty and better conditions.
