The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

April 9, 2010 - ILoubnan - Judicial police arrests 2 drug dealers

BEIRUT - Judicial police patrol arrested on Friday morning two Lebanese drug dealers in Kafaat area in Beirut southern suburb. The two suspects were arrested after exchanging fire with the members of the police unit, the National news Agency reported.

BEYROUTH - Une patrouille de la police judiciaire a arrêté vendredi matin deux trafiquants de drogue libanais dans la place Kafaat de la banlieue sud de Beyrouth. Les arrestations ont eu lieu après un échange de feu entre les suspects et les agents de police, a rapporté l'Agence Nationale de l'Information.
