The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

May 10, 2010 - Assafir - Nigeria release Lebanese Hostage

تحرير لبناني مخطوف في نيجيريا

تمكّنت قوّة عمليات خاصة في الشرطة النيجيرية من تحرير لبناني اختطف قبل نحو أسبوعين على أيدي سبعة مسلّحين في ضاحية أوتاكو في مدينة بورت هاركورت في جنوب نيجيريا.
وأوضح ناطق أمني أنّ تحرير الرهينة اللبناني الذي أبقي اسمه طي الكتمان لأغراض تتعلّق بسير التحقيقات في القضية، تمّ بعد اشتباك مسلّح مع أربعــة من المجموعة الخاطفة التي قتلت كلّــها، مشــيراً إلى أنّ اللبناني لم يصب بأيّ أذى.
