Now Lebanon - LAF arrests perpetrators for forging food expiry dates

NOW Lebanon’s correspondent in the Bekaa reported on Thursday that security forces arrested four people for allegedly forging expiry dates on foodstuffs.

The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) – Information Branch raided a factory in the Bekaa and caught the assailants in the act of the crime before handing them over to the Customs Directorate for further investigation, said the correspondent.

He added that the LAF also raided a warehouse containing expired goods and sealed the premises, as well as shutting down a major trade country on suspicion of involvement in the case.
