Lebanon news - NOW Lebanon -Future bloc: Commitment to STL should remain a Lebanese principle

The Future bloc issued a statement on Tuesday saying that Lebanon’s commitment to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) should be one of the principles that make up a starting point for Lebanon.
Following its weekly meeting, the bloc said that the March 8 coalition’s calls to halt Lebanon’s share of funding to the STL and withdraw the Lebanese judges working with the tribunal “[contradicts] the agreements taken in [past] national dialogue [sessions].”
The bloc warned against the calls to end Lebanon’s commitments with the international community.
