The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Suspect reportedly arrested on Israel spy charges

Internal Security Forces (ISF) Intelligence has arrested a suspect on charges of spying for Israel in the town of Amchit in Jbeil, according to press reports on Sunday.The suspect is accused of collaborating with Israeli intelligence for several years, and allegedly travelled to Israel for advanced training, media said.The suspect was reportedly living in the area of President Michel Sleiman’s home in Amchit; however, he is originally from South Lebanon’s Ain Abel.
