The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Man arrested for hashish-smuggling - September 23, 2010

The National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday that security officers at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport arrested Mohammad B.A.A, who was heading to Dammam, for smuggling 98 grams of hashish.

General Prosecutor Judge in Mount Lebanon Claude Karam, who ordered the arrest, transferred the case to the Anti-Narcotics Bureau for investigation, the NNA added.
