The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Estonian FM discusses Bekaa kidnapping with Baroud - March 28, 2011

Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet met on Monday with Interior Minister Ziad Baroud to discuss the kidnapping of seven Estonians, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
The main goal of the Estonian government is to cooperate with the Lebanese authorities to free the kidnapped Estonians and bring them back home as soon as possible, Paet said.
He added that an investigation into the kidnapping is ongoing.
The NNA also reported on Monday that Paet, who arrived in Beirut earlier Monday, met with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General William Habib.
Seven European citizens were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on Wednesday after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes.
