Now Lebanon - NOW Lebanon’s correspondent: Syrian authorities release Reuters journalists - March 29, 2011

NOW Lebanon’s correspondent reported on Monday that Syrian authorities released the two Reuters journalists who went missing in the country on Saturday evening.
The authorities interrogated the two about the nature of their work in the country, the correspondent said, adding that they returned to Lebanon afterward.
Reuters reported on Sunday that two of its television journalists, producer Ayat Basma and cameraman Ezzat Baltaji, went missing in Syria on Saturday night.
More than 30 people have been confirmed killed in a spiral of violence that has gripped Syria since protests broke out on March 15, with demonstrators demanding major reforms from the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
