The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

BEIRUT: Four men suspected of collaborating with Israel have been officially charged by the Military Tribunal. The government’s representative at the tribunal, Judge Saqr Saqr, filed charges on Friday against Musa Ali Musa, and two individuals believed to be in Israel, Ali Mohammad Said and Hassan Hussein Abdullah. The three men were suspected of collaborating with Israeli intelligence and providing it with information about the offices and homes of Hizbullah officials. They allegedly received large amounts of money via mail in return for their services, and could face the death penalty if they are convicted. Saqr also filed charges against Bassam Jamil Yassin for collaborating with Israeli intelligence, communicating with it and providing it with information about Lebanese civil and military locations. – The Daily Star
