Now Lebanon - Sadr’s daughter says her father is still alive - March 11, 2011

US news website Bloomberg on Thursday quoted disappeared Amal Movement founder Imam Moussa Sadr’s daughter, Houra Sadr, as saying that she received information that her father is still alive.
“The information we have confirms that he is alive and in jail in Libya,” she told the site.
However, she did not elaborate further.
The Amal Movement claims that Sadr disappeared in Libya in after his official visit of 1978, and accuses Libyan leader Moammar Qaddafi of being responsible, who repeatedly denies any responsibility of the issue.
A former Libyan envoy said in an article published in Al-Hayat newspaper in February that Sadr “was shot and killed during his visit to Libya in 1978.”
