The Daily Star - Missing Syrian activist’s family pleads for help - May 28, 2011

BEIRUT: The family of leading Syrian opposition figure Shibli al-Aisamy appealed to leaders in Lebanon for help after he went missing earlier this week.
“[We] call on all political, security and judicial figures to take responsibility and help find [Aisamy],” a statement from his family said Friday, adding that they had contacted members of Hezbollah and Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt for help. Rights groups have said Aisamy, 86, went missing after leaving his daughter’s house in Aley.
