BEIRUT: Parliament’s Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs Committee passed an amendment to the Labor Law Wednesday to allow public sector employees to form unions.
Beirut MP Atef Majdalani, the head of the committee, said: “This amendment should have been made years ago because it is in line with international agreements which Lebanon has signed.”
