The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Iloubnan - Lahoud says crisis to end by one word from Hariri - November 1, 2010


BEIRUT - Former MP Emile Lahoud stated on Monday that the current crisis would end if Prime Minister Saad Hariri settled it with one stance. "He should hamper the politicization of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, prosecute the masterminds of false witnesses and settle the issue once for all", he told Sawt Al-Mada radio station.
