The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Scores of women call for protecting STL - March 06, 2011

Scores of women rally in the Saint George area, calling for finding out those responsible for former PM Rafik Hariri’s 2005 assassination. (NOW Lebanon)
Scores of women marched from late Prime Minister Rafik Hariri’s tomb in Downtown to where he was assassinated in the Saint George area, NOWLebanon’s correspondent reported on Sunday.
The women, on the occasion of the international women’s day, called for uncovering who was behind the 2005 assassination of Hariri and for protecting the Special Tribunal for Lebanon- the UN-backed court probing the murder.
