The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - SKeyes publishes report on media violations - March 10, 2011

The Samir Kassir Eyes (SKeyes) Foundation issued a report on Wednesday detailing violations of media and cultural rights that occurred during February in the countries the foundation covers – Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine.
The report mentioned incidents related to freedom of expression, such as harassing journalists, hacking websites, preventing some journalists from carrying out their duties and jamming certain Lebanese channels during coverage of popular protests in Libya and Bahrain.
