Naharnet - Lebanese Infant Beaten to Death, June 14 2012

The parents of a 3-month-old baby girl were arrested by security forces on Friday after her battered body was brought to a hospital in Beirut, Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour said.
There were clear indications on Farah Mahmoud Abdulrazzak Hawana’s body that she was severely beaten, Abou Faour told Voice of Lebanon radio station (93.3).
Almost all bones in her body were fractured when she was brought to St. Therese hospital in Hadath, he said.
Her father, 25-year-old Mahmoud, and mother Maram Nabil Hazineh, 18, were arrested for questioning.
Prosecutor Saeed Mirza launched an investigation to know whether the cause of death was murder from an assault.
