The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Judge sentences Israeli collaborators to death - November 1, 2010









Military Court Judge Nizar Khalil on Monday sentenced three individuals to death for collaborating with Israel, New TV reported.The report identified the sentenced people as Jawdat Hakim—who is currently detained—as well as Sami Farhat and Amer al-Halabi, who are still on the loose.Police have arrested several suspects earlier in the year in an expanding probe into an alleged network of Israeli spies.
