The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Youth in Nabatieh launch campaign against confessionalism - May 02, 2011

“The Revolution Youth 2011,” a group against confessionalism in Lebanon, set up a tent in Nabatieh and launched a campaign to promote awareness on the dangers of a sectarian system, NOWLebanon’s correspondent reported on Monday.
The group of young men and women issued a statement that it has nothing to do with the activities of other groups calling for ending the sectarian system.
